Virginia Beach 2011

Well, mom and I were fortunate enough to take the children on our annual trip to Virginia Beach.  Much like last year, we were able to go over the 4th of July...and unfortunately, much like last year, I was sick for a large part of the trip.  Oh, well, how bad can you really feel when there is sun and sand to enjoy. 

We had the first few days to ourselves, and then Seth came to visit over the 4th. There were big storms that day, so the fireworks were postponed. We watched the fireworks in D.C. and New York on TV instead.

Seth left, and then my dad and nephew came to join us.  Our week was filled with things such as playing at the beach, swimming at the pool, playing mini-golf, eating lots of fudge and ice cream, riding bikes, and playing Scrabble.  What a nice relaxing way to spend a week!
