Signs of Fall

 As I state each fall, I love living in a state that offers the pleasure of experiencing all four seasons.  I do enjoy fall, and here are a few signs I've been seeing lately to prove we are enduring it full force.

*DRESS UP IS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH IN PREPARATION FOR HALLOWEEN

 *CORN STALKS ARE TURNING BROWN, AND THE DEER HAVE BEEN VISITING MORE OFTEN
 *OUR PUMPKINS IN OUR GARDEN ARE ABOUT READY TO HARVEST
 *TACKLE FOOTBALL IN THE YARD

 *VISITS TO THE ARBORETUM FOR FALL PICNICS
 *TOSSING LEAVES THAT HAVE FALLEN FROM THE TREES
 *LEAF RUBBINGS
 * THE POOL IS CLOSED
 *HOKIE FOOTBALL
 *FALL DANCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
  We continue to fill our schedule with fall festivities.  I am looking forward to a visit to the pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving and decorating, going to an apple festival, making caramel apples, a visit from a dear friend for my birthday, my birthday, football parties, Halloween parties, running a zombie 5K, and Trick or Treating...I feel like I've forgotten something. :)

  And just because they're cute...

He was still hungry!

Well, it's certainly been a while since my last post.  I have many things to catch up on, but for now, this was just too cute to pass up.  This is Liam's rendition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  I don't think I've ever seen this book read in a more ADORABLE way. :)
