Random Fall...

I do love the fall season. I love the cool, crisp air and fall festivities.

Here are a few random pictures.

I also celebrate my birthday in the fall. It seems like each year out does the prior year when it comes to spoiling. This year, I started off the day with chocolate cake and new boots. At school, some of the students made cards, and they threw me a surprise party with cake and ice cream. My co-workers had a surprise lunch for me. We had a baked potato bar, salad, and fruit. My mom picked the kids up from the sitter after school. This allowed me to get a much needed pedicure. I was also able to have Seth all to myself for a lovely dinner, shopping, and a coffee break. At home, there were flowers, and MORE presents. I must say, the cutest thing of all was the video my sitter made for me of Makayla singing, "Happy Birthday." What a priceless video and day!

Pumpkin Time

Mom and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch last weekend. It was windy and chilly...perfect for fall. We spent a great deal of time in the corn maze...sadly enough, Makayla had the best sense of direction out of all of us. Go figure! :) The highlight of the corn maze for the kids was the kitty that joined us. Makayla was convinced that the cat knew the way. They played in the soybean bin, rode tricycles, and picked the perfect pumpkins. Mom got the biggest kick out of me trying to STUFF two giant straw bales into the back of my car.

Liam's first hair cut

It is so hard to believe that Liam is 16 months old already. He is growing up right before our eyes...and growing into an even bigger flirt everyday! He is super sweet and delicious...I could eat him with a spoon! He is starting to string two words together and repeats just about anything. He is always concerned with his "sissy," and tries to keep up with her. He loves to give hugs and kisses, and has mastered climbing up and going down the slide all on his own. He is starting to use his fork and spoon, and has discovered the world of cookies...oh, my!

He did get his first hair cut, and looks mighty handsome!

A few weekends ago, Seth and I took the kids to Big Meadows to play and enjoy the beautiful fall day. Couldn't help but snap a few shots of the cuties!

First Football Game

What a beautiful day to watch the Hokies play! Seth and I took Makayla and Liam to their first VA Tech football game. They were huge fanatics the first quarter, and slowly fizzled out after that. Makayla cheered with her pom-poms, and was extremely adorable! Liam just kept yelling, "Go, go, go!"
