Winter "Wonder"land

It has been a beautiful winter...we've seen a little more snow than I was anticipating, but I have enjoyed my precious time home with the "babies." During this time home, I've also had lots of time to think and "wonder."

I wonder...
how much more snow will we get this winter?
why time flies when you're having fun?
what causes cancer? Why are so many affected? Praying for some dear friends and family...
am I the best mother I can possibly be? Lord knows I try!!! :)

does anyone else think these kiddos are the cutest???

Again, I have LOVED being home this winter. Some updates:

LIAM
Liam is growing and changing everyday. I cannot believe he will be 8 months old on Saturday!!!

7 month crib shot

He started taking a pacifier at seven months...strange, but true.

He recently started drinking from a sippy cup.

He's CRAWLING and pulling up on lots of his sister's toys.

And...he's off!He LOVES his dog!

MAKAYLA
Makayla loves to play and pretend. When we are home, she is my little shadow. She wants to learn and explore and she asks so many questions. I love helping her learn.

She loves to "hang out."

She does get stir crazy sometimes...or maybe she's just crazy. At least she gets it honestly!

SNOW
I have enjoyed the snow. At times, it has been too deep to take the babies out to play, but it has been beautiful nonetheless.
After the snow melted from the first storm...yes, that is a lake in our field...where did that come from?!?!
Makayla and I have been baking away on the snow days...too bad my waistline is suffering...some more! :)

Two of my favorite things about the end of each day are bath time and reading books. Makayla and Liam love taking baths and giggle out loud while splashing in the water. After bath, we read. Liam listens so intently. When you make eye contact with him, he giggles. It is SO cute!

As we prepare for Valentine's Day, I took photos of the children together for their Valentine card...this is the picture I chose NOT to use! :)
I hope this post finds everyone happy and healthy. I look forward to Valentine's Day to celebrate those that I love.

I love to blog...just wish I could keep up....still behind on Thanksgiving, Christmas baking, other snow day activities!!!! Maybe one day...
