I must confess...I am a worry wart! Why must I worry so? They say that 90% of what you worry about never comes true...how true!
I worried I'd go into labor at school...didn't happen.
I worried I couldn't give birth again without an epidural...did it!
I worried I could never give my heart to anyone as much as I have to Makayla...DONE!
I worried that Makayla would resent us for giving her a brother...she LOVES him...and us!
I still worry that I'll never lose the baby weight...working on it, but it's so worth it!
So...let me count my blessings and not my worries!
My many blessings from the past two weeks...

Our Little Liam
I feel like I could title this post "what a whirlwind" as well. The past several days have been such!
I was approaching my due date and was starting to nest. I spent Friday night CLEANING. I finally settled down on the couch at 11:30 only to be awakened at 1:30 with contractions. After doubting that it was the "real thing" for a few hours, we finally called Mom to come to our house at 5:00 am Saturday morning. We arrived at the hospital and checked in around 6:00 am. After I was admitted, they monitored the baby and me. We both were doing great, but the contractions were coming on much faster and MUCH stronger. We decided to have the jacuzzi tub filled and we were off for a walk around the maternity ward...I made one lap and decided I better head back to my room. Seth told them I wouldn't be needing the bath. A few minutes later, the doctor came in to check me and proceeded to tell me to push on the next contraction. It all just came on so fast! I pushed for three contractions. Liam started crowning on the second! On the fourth, the doctor asked me not to push, as they had to get prepared for delivery. Little Liam was delivered on the fifth contraction at 7:33 am, weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces, measuring 19 inches long. What a blissful and blessed morning!
A few pictures...more coming...eventually! :)

What a whirlwind!
In preparing for the end of the school year and the new baby on the way, I feel like life has been a whirlwind lately. School books are packed away. Suitcase is in the car. The nursery is complete. We have chosen a name (even had it embroidered on his diaper bag!) I think we're READY!!!
Makayla continues to grow, change, become more and more verbal, and seems to come up with something new everyday.
A few updates:
Playing with her "future husband." She's pretending to make him eat grass...and loving every minute of it!
Last day of school. I'm ready to be full-time Momma for the summer!!!
Makayla has rediscovered her bouncy seat and loves to sit in it to read books.
The furniture came in yesterday, and the sport decals are on the wall. We can't wait to welcome our little man.

A few updates:
Three days until the due date...won't be long now! I'll post pictures of "baby bruver" soon!
