A little taste of summer

I did not have to go to work today because the schools were being used for voting, and what I got to experience was a little taste of summer. I was able to get up early (I love a quiet house first thing in the morning), exercise, shower, and get some chores done all before anyone else got up. The kids and I had breakfast, made some gifts for the grandmothers for Mother's Day, and played. We eventually headed out to the children's museum with a friend and to Qdoba for lunch (yay for the free meal for teacher appreciation day!). While the children napped, I had some more quiet time before heading out to the kiddie pool for lots of squeals, splashing, and sunshine. If it had ended there, all would have been perfect. I decided to cook for dinner...well, most of you know how that goes, so I'll leave it at that! :)

I am so excited to be winding down the school year to prepare for the summer with the babies! I - CAN'T - WAIT!!!!!!
