First Snow Day!

I must admit, I woke up a little bit grouchy this morning. I was having a dream about the weather and discovered that we didn't get any ice and I had to go to work. After I woke up and got out of bed, I checked the temperature...34 degrees. I figured my dream must be true. I turned on the TV just to see. School was CLOSED for the day! Yippee!

Makayla slept in until 8:20, which gave me time to walk on the treadmill and catch up on a few other things. After she got up, we played with blocks, cooked, played, played again, and PLAYED some more. While she took her nap, I caught up on some laundry, blogged, did some preggie pilates, and took a leisurely shower. After her nap, we snacked, played, semi-watched Sleeping Beauty, and made supper...is this what it's like to be a stay at home mom? (Sorry, Herb...just had to see if you were paying attention!)

Also today, I wore a maternity shirt...just for fun, and changed over most of my wardrobe in my closet to maternity clothes...I'll need them soon enough!

All in all, it was the perfect snow day!

Well, of course I'm paying attention! It's the wonder of the web that I can keep up with Makayla, she's changing so fast. I love the shot of her reading the recipe while she makes the mix. So smart! You seem to be feeling great. I wonder if we could get the group together for lunch on the work/flex day? That Friday is an option, right? If we met in Edinburg, we could pull it off. See what your ALES colleagues think.

Tell Seth I enjoyed the little Hokie pictures too.
